This trophy came into being in 1973 with the aim of encouraging club members to participate in tournaments other than just the Club Championship.
To win the trophy a player needs to enter at least two tournaments. Its fair to say that any player in the club can win, regardless of their chess rating.
Points awarded in each tournament are as follows:
Club Championship and Respini Tournament (In each division)
1st: 20 points, 2nd: 18 points, 3rd: 16 points, 4th: 14 points, 5th: 12 points, 6th: 10 points, 7th: 08 points, 8th: 06 points, 9th: 04 points, 10th: 02 points
Note: In the event for a tie for a specific place, the points shall be shared.
Metro Open
Points allocated for each 'division' based on about 10 players per division (similar to the allocation of prize money for the tournament)
1st: 20 points, 2nd: 18 points, 3rd: 16 points, 4th: 14 points, 5th: 12 points,
6th: 10 points, 7th: 08 points, 8th: 06 points, 9th: 04 points, 10th: 02 points

Arved Wasser Tournament (In each division)

11th: 05 points, 12th: 04 points, 13th: 03 points, 14th: 02 points, 15th: 01 point
Club Lightning & Lightning Handicap Tournaments (In each division)
1st: 10 points, 2nd: 09 points, 3rd: 08 points, 4th: 07 points, 5th: 06 points, 6th: 05 points, 7th: 04 points, 8th: 03 points, 9th: 02 points, 10th: 01 points
